Shipping policy
All Deliveries are made between Tuesday & Friday
Deliveries are made by courier on Tuesday to Friday, anywhere in England, Wales and Central Scotland. Cheeses need to be signed for and refrigerated immediately on arrival. The cheeses will be delivered by courier in a non-refrigerated vehicle but they will be packed with ice blocks.
We aim to dispach your order the following of your order or same day if placed before 12pm Monday to Thursday.
We do not accept returns due to the nature of our products. In the unlikely event there is any damage it is important to notify us within 24 hours of receipt of your order, picture evidence where possible will allow us to replace or refund.
Sorry, but The Cheese Yard cannot accept orders where you are unable to sign for the delivery. Timed deliveries are not possible (the courier will deliver some time during the day, up to 5.00 pm) and if you are not in at the time of delivery, the courier will not be able to deliver your order.
We ask that you provide the correct shipping address as well as a mobile number for the recipient so they can get notified of a delivery time slot and have the opportunity to redirect to a safe place.
We do not accept liabilities if these have not been entered correctly, Contact us as soon as possible if you notice a mistake and we will try to correct it.
COVID-19 Deliveries: During the pandemic, All delivery by APC overnight and Parcel force are contact free. You will be notified and if you are not in have the opportunity to redirect or leave it in a safe place. (please make sure we have the correct recipient details)
Tracking Your Order
Your delivery should arrive before 5.00 pm; if it doesn't, please ring The Cheese Yard on 01565 751697 so it can be traced. At busy periods delivery may occasionally take an additional day.
The status of your delivery can be tracked online using your consignment number (sent to you by email when the parcel is dispatched) or by calling The Cheese Yard on 01565 751697.
Deliveries to Isle of Wight (postcodes PO 30-41) is £25
Delivery to the Isle of Wight is charged at the same rate as standard delivery but is a 2-day delivery time and is £25
Delivery to Islands and the Scottish Highlands is £25
Standard next-day delivery is not available to the areas listed below.
2-day delivery is available for online orders for the following postcodes and areas:

The production of «capriflocon» takes 22 hours. it‘smade according to a traditional recipe. the name already hints at a distinctive step in its pro-
duction: goat milk is processed into cheese flakes.
Thanks to their structure, the cheeses forms a fine, delicate texture.
A truly delicate, softly melting doe. on the tongue, it reveals a fine goaty aromas.
Capriflocon reminds you of fresh milk and butter, before it ends with a nutty finish.

We recommend the following quantities per person:
For an after dinner cheese board, 30g to 50g per cheese per person is generally enough and should not leave you with much leftover. If you are planning to have a big table and / or want some cheese to be carried over a few days ,we recommend 80 to 100g of cheese per person.
The number of cheeses is up too you (i say the more the better!) but to achieve a good selection from textures, Strenghs & different milks, 4 to 6 cheeses are recommended.
